Welcome.  I am BurningFlan.

I anticipate that the most asked question about this blog will be: why BurningFlan?  There are a few reasons for this, the primary one is that I hate flan.  The nasty sponge base turned to moosh with liquid jelly covered in nasty tinned fruit.  This dessert palgued my childhood and I would now like to burn all flan to prevent any further ingestion of said dessert.
The other secondary reason is that hopefully burningflan is easy to remember!
